Do you suffer from Anxiety? I know I do!
Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD) is constantly in our minds as we worry about our every move and if we said the wrong thing to someone. Anxiety often leads to excessive worrying affects our happiness – possibly leading to depression – stopping us from being who we are.
Anxiety lives in all of us. Just how mild or severe depends on each individual. We know those who live with anxiety live in constant fear of judgment and not being able to show who they truly are. Those who don’t understand this mental health issue will often say, “you’re overthinking too much” or “relax”. But how can you relax when your anxiety is constantly telling you otherwise?
Ann can be any one of us. She suffers from Generalized Anxiety Disorder with the constant worry of a number of different things. She naturally anticipates disaster and expects the worst in events for no apparent reason. Her close friend, Anxiety, constantly questions her actions, her words, and her as a person making her worry more than needed and thinking she is not worth anyone’s time. Ann tries to fight off Anxiety, but she seems to always win. Can she overcome her anxiety?
