The 1861 confederate Half Dollar coin is one of the most interesting and rare coins in American history. Struck at New Orleans Mint in 1861 with a 1861 seated liberty design , there are only four of these coins ever made. In November of 2017 one of these will be offered at auction for the first time in it’s history.
