Another friend of mine also inherited a coin collection and asked for help in understanding not only what she had but also what it was worth. She sent a few pictures and my initial reaction was … ‘it looked like a bunch of constitutional silver and some gold coins, probably worth silver/gold value.’ However, much to my surprise, there were many scarce & rare coins. While they coins were not in high end condition (mostly Good / Very Good) they have good value. This video are highlights of the collection and how I approached grading and valuing it for both insurance purposes or what they could expect a coin dealer might pay for it.
