Today we will be taking a look at a fantastic large 5000 Marek banknote from Poland. This note was used during the interwar period (the years leading up to WWII). World War I had led to high inflation throughout Europe, especially after the 1930s. This note also circulated during World War II. Leave any questions in the comment section below.
