– In this video you will see the first pattern note of India in the denomination of Rupee 1. This pattern note was issued by government of India in the year 1948 in the signature of V. Narahari Rao, Finance Secretary.
– This not is specimen note and first proposed but never issued note
– When this note was proposed to issue there were a portrait of Mahatma Gandhi in the up right front of obverse.
– There is a mistake in language panel I found during my research where “EKO Tanka” Written in Udiya Language was written wrongly which was corrected in the first issue of Rupee One signed by K.R.K Menon, finance secretary of India.
– Curranty there is no information of this note in google or Wikipedia but some pictures I found in two book one book is of Kishore Junjunwala’ s Indian Paper Money and second one is of Rizwan Razaaq and Kishore Junjunwala’s revised standared guide to Indian Paper Money
