The Eric Newman Prt X auction was a delight for the early paper money collector. Some of these early American currency notes were in the Newman collection for over 7 decades such as the 1861 St Louis Demand Note $5 bill. Others incuded Bon Scripts from the Missouri River Fur Trade of the late 1700’s to early 1800’s, ols imperial Chinese paper money and San Francisco Imperial currency from the self proclaimed Emperor Norton I. Just a few highlights from the 2018 numismatic auction.
