5-Rupee coins of Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak’s 150th Birth Anniversary were issued in 2007. These coins became centre of controversy because of an honorific “Ji” with the name of Tilak. These coins of Tilak Ji type were recalled from circulation and new coins with rectified legend were issued to public.
