From 1959 to 1966, Reserve Bank of India issued 100 Rupee notes in Green. These notes were meant as legal tender in the Persian Gulf countries of Dubai, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, Abu Dhabi, and Oman, and some other countries. These Gulf Notes were withdrawn as legal tender in 1970.

These notes were issued only in one Prefix Letter (Z) with Prefix. These notes are extremely rare and costly in UNC grade.
