From 1959 to 1966, Reserve Bank of India issued 5 Rupee notes in orange. These notes were meant as legal tender in the Persian Gulf countries of Dubai, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, Abu Dhabi, and Oman.
These notes were issued only in one Prefix Letter (Z) with Prefix numbers from 0 to 16. These notes are extremely rare and costly in UNC grade.
