This is a story of a very rare Proof Set. This was issued in 1993 by the Bombay mint. It was issued to gift to the participants of the 89th Inter Parliamentary Union Conference. It was held in New Delhi from 12-17th April 1993.
This Proof Set has 3 coins, 10 Rupees, 5 Rupees and 1 Rupee. Only 1 Rupee coins with Diamond Mint Mark were issued in general circulation. These Proof Sets are very rare and costly.
