Peacock Dance for Love मोर नृत्य was filmed by Dr. Dilip Rajgor at Devaliya Sanctuary. Making mating calls to his beloved, the blue male Peacock starts its wonderful dance for a female peacock. But there are more than one females to impress to !!!
The Peacock Dance of Love lasted for more than five minutes but neither the male peacock was tired nor the females seemed to be impressed. It appeared that the breath-taking peacock dance was not meant for the female but it was a welcome dance for me to shoot and broadcast.
Animals seen during the Safari were: Dancing Peacock and Peahen (Indian Peafowl or Blue Peafowl or Pavo Crisatus).
Devaliya is a wildlife sanctuary in the Sasan Gir area, district Junagadh in Gujarat, India.
This episode is 5th part of Junagadh Tour done in the first week of August 2021.
Devaliya Safari is closed on Wednesdays. Best season to visit the Safari is from October to June.
