This weekend the Royal Mint Experience were hosting a special event for the Queens Platinum Jubilee!

I went along with a bunch of other cointubers and viewers to strike our own special, one day only, strike your own. With the Queen on horseback!

I spent the weekend in Wales so was able to head to the Cardiff Coin Fair at the City Hall on Saturday 5th of February. And also pick up the normal strike your own that is running currently, the 70th Jubilee 50 pence with the ‘normal’ obverse!

It was a great time and I recorded some of the action to share with you guys, including the brand new section of the exhibition to celebrate the Queens 70th Jubilee. With lots of coins to see! As well as much more, including a list of all of the Queen’s corgis over the years!
