Hi Collectors! I was finally able to get a box of half dollars to hunt. My bank was able to successfully order a box (that’s right 50 rolls) during the great coin shortage of 2020. The strange thing was that many of the half dollars (a few each roll) had markings from a permanent marker on them. Does this mean they were previously searched? I don’t think so as I I was able to pull some cool finds from the rolls. Were they marked by a teller counting them? Were they tested for COVID? I’m not sure we’ll ever know, but please enjoy this cool hunt anyway. I hope you enjoy the time lapse aspects of it.
Also remember, I’m giving away a PCGS MS63 graded Morgan Silver Dollar to a subscriber. Watch this video to find out how to enter the giveaway: https://youtu.be/EDMm0kaYHtw
