The front of the coin has Ashoka Lion Capital and in the Reverse has the Value and year 1982 written
The new coin dye was changed and 2 grams were reduced from the coin, the previous coin 1 rupee from 1972 – 1982 Big Coins weighted 8gms and the next changed coins weighted 6gms and there was the difference in size as well the Big Coins were weighted 28mm and the Rare coin 26mm
The coins Metal will be Copper Nickel
because of its rarity, the Rare coin of 1982 was counterfeited lots of fake coins can be available in the market .. i request my fellow collectors to double-check the coins before buying
