The court said on the ASG claim that he could invite some blind persons to investigate this. The Central Government and the RBI lawyer before the court said that new notes have been issued after consulting the experts and suggestions of several organizations working for the visually impaired.
The Central Government and the RBI told the court that the mark of 20 and 50 rupees has not been made for identification marks because it is very expensive and erases over time.
However, in the big notes of 100 and above, this embossed mark is made for blind people. Apart from this, special marks will be made for identification at the edges of coins of one, two, five and 10 rupees.
