The reason 12th January is dedicated for this ‘Rashtriya Yuva Diwas’ is because of birth anniversary of Great Indian Monk, Swami Vivekananda. He was born on 12th January 1863. Due to extraordinary teachings of Swami Vivekananda on India and Hinduism, he is considered as the ‘Youth Icon of India’.
